This week, EDF Business staff members are heading to the RILA Retail Sustainability Conference in Orlando, FL. This conference provides an opportunity for EDF to engage with leading retailers, discuss new trends and share best practices.
EDF has 25 years of experience working with business to find sustainability solutions that work, and this conference is a great opportunity to share the lessons we have learned in working with large retailers such as Walmart, Target, Office Depot, JC Penney, REI and Belk.
EDF staff members Kate Hanley, Scott Wood, and Boma Brown-West will be at the conference to engage with retailers about our work on freight and supply chain logistics, product sustainability and smart energy management in facilities.
Scott Wood will be leading a lunch roundtable on Wednesday, October 2 from 12:30 to 1:30pm focused on “energy saving practices.” We hope you will you to join him for what should be an engaging and open discussion. Scott is project manager for EDF Climate Corps, which has worked with hundreds of companies on energy-saving initiatives. If you are interested in signing up your company for EDF Climate Corps 2014, be sure to catch up with Scott. In the meantime, you can learn more about the program on our website.
See you there!
